Abstract: 

Road accidents are fast increasing in developing countries like India, as transportation technology advances and the total number of cars increases. This technological innovation also exacerbated traffic hazards. Two-wheelers account for 25% of all traffic fatalities. As a result, the frequency of traffic accidents rises, resulting in significant loss of life due to inadequate emergency services. The Smart Helmet element of the preventive involves the relay not turning on the engine if these two conditions are not met. The micro controller manages the relay's function and, as a result, the ignition. Keywords:- Internet of Things, Smart Helmet, Esp8266, GPS Module, MQ3 Sensor.

Jesudoos A et al. proposed a technique that employs sensors such as infrared, vibration, and gas sensors. The gas sensor checks the breath of a person wearing
the helmet to determine how much alcohol he has consumed. MEMS is in charge of the vehicle's bar control. A vibration sensor detects an accident. The load checker detects the vehicle's load. The PIC microcontroller is connected to the sensors. If a user has consumed alcohol, the gas sensor will detect it and display it on the LED display. If an accident occurs, the vibration sensor will detect it and send information to the hospital through GPS. The MEME sensor will detect any rash driving by the rider.
